REPORTING TO: Conference & Banqueting Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW: This is a very demanding, exciting, unique and at times frustrating role.  You will be challenged with delivering outstanding service that wants your clients coming back for more.   
You will need to help develop and grow a team to ensure we have the ability to deliver more and more events.

A clear understanding of Eden’s ethos will certainly help your performance in the this role

A) EXPECTATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE
1. Operate to standards agreed with the Conference & Banqueting Manager.

2. Achieve targeted profit requirement per event.

3. Work closely with other Eden teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all events.

4. Our ambition is to ensure that our clients receive a professional, friendly and efficient service at all times, so an excellent eye for detail is going to be critical for this role, to have the ability to spot when something isn’t right and have the knowledge and experience to correct it

5 At all times to be professional, engaged and personally accountable

B) KEY SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU:
1. People management, negotiation skills and a great telephone manner, strong IT and written skills.  Have a flexible approach, as you could be based in the office one day, on the phones or carrying out paper work, and then on the floor leading the team delivering outstanding customer service the next.

2. Ability to think on your feet and have bags of self motivation and common sense

3. The desire to smash through challenging financial targets and prove the ability and potential of this department
