Why donate
About the charity
The Eden Project is wholly owned by the Eden Trust, an education charity (charity number 1093070). We use exhibits, events, workshops and educational programmes to remind people what nature gives to us and to help people to learn how to look after it in return. All money raised goes to further the aims of the Trust.
Where the money goes
Our main source of income to date has been that raised from visitors to the Eden Project, but to move forward and expand our educational outreach programmes we need charitable funds. These funds will be used to develop and expand our Mud Between Your Toes, Climate Revolution and Gardens for Life programmes – you can read all about the aims of these programmes in the What we do section of the website.
What will it achieve
We believe the world we live in is facing radical change – and our aim is to help find positive futures in the face of that change. Our campaigns have been created to address critical issues such as getting children back in touch with the natural world, rethinking how we get our energy, how we get around; and sharing the learning that can come from gardening and growing food across communities, cultures and countries.
How you can help
Any gift you make towards our work will be greatly appreciated. Here’s an idea of how your donation could help.
- £20 could pay for one child to participate in a Mud Between Your Toes education day at Eden
- £60 could pay for could pay for two sets of warm, dry clothing for children participating in Mud Between Your Toes
