(For a bit of fun, every Friday our Plant Records Manager, Chris Bisson, the guy who maintains all the recorded information on our plant collections, will do a regular blog slot where he recommends his favourite “plant records” – that is, songs that are in some way linked to a plant. ‘Everything Went Black’ – The Black Dahlia Murder (2007)

Our Dahlias are looking spectacular at the moment, with loads of varieties all in flower. These stunning plants are in the Asteraceae Family, the same as Daisies and Lettuce. Will be in flower right up to the first frost…

I normally choose more old school plant records, feel like I should mix it up a bit, The Black Dahlia Murder should appeal to the metal lovers out there!
