Ray of hope after Eden flooding

It’s a beautiful morning here at Eden, with a huge rainbow arcing across the site. The team came in super early for day two of the clean-up job. Gardeners, chefs, stewards, office staff, we’re all out in our wellies and macs.ray-of-hope-blog

Today, we’re busy path clearing, taking a closer look at the ice rink to assess the damage, and finding a new home for our Christmas crafts activities. Thankfully there was little rain last night, so the water – which was 2-3 feet deep in some places yesterday morning – has subsided.

Thanks for all your encouragement and offers of help on Facebook and Twitter, which are spurring us on. As is the promise of hot soup served up for lunch by Carol in the canteen…
