If you’re based in the South West and work in the food and drinks industry, there’s still time to enter the prestigious Taste of the West Awards.
The awards, to be presented in a ceremony in our Mediterranean Biome this November, are open to food and drink manufacturers, hotels, shop owners, online retailers and the like from within Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
Last year’s winners include a tasty Devonshire home-cured ox tongue, Cornwall’s Lobbs Farm Shop and a whole host of gorgeous South West pubs and restaurants.
The closing date for hospitality and retail entries is Friday 24 June, while product entries must be submitted by Friday 8 July 2011. You can see full details and criteria on the Taste of the West Awards website.
