New environment and sustainable engineering masters course with study at Eden
We’ve put our heads together with the University of East London to offer an exciting new MSc course, so that students interested in sustainability can study at a respected university while getting practical experience at the Eden Project.
The MSc in Environmental Adaptation and Sustainable Engineering focuses on two elements: how society must adapt to climate change, and how sustainable engineering can tackle these challenges.
But students get to touch on a whole range of subjects, including building design, waste and recycling systems, and social, legal and economic issues.
The course will be taught by specialists at UEL and there will be several five-day study trips at the Eden Project itself, where students can see behind the scenes.
They’ll also get an insight into some of the decisions and sustainable solutions we’ve come up at our site, which features some world-famous green buildings, such at the geodesic Biomes and the solar-panelled Core education centre.
Courses start in September and February and are taught both part time and full time. Find out more about the course and how to apply.
