Seasonal dishes handmade daily in our Bakery

As we firmly settle into the autumn, we thought we’d share the new seasonal menu now being served in the Eden Bakery. It changes through the day and you can watch all the action as our bakers make a mouthwatering selection of  wonderful dishes right in front of you.

Breakfast time

Arrive early to enjoy some breakfast or brunch. Try our delicious homemade muesli with oats, almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds, apricots, dates and cranberries all tumbled with apple juice and honey.

We pride ourselves on the artisan bread that we bake throughout the day. Enjoy it toasted with a free range boiled egg or let the kids have some fun spreading it with our homemade jam. You can also watch the bakers at breakfast as they handmake a selection of buttery pastries: great to watch and very hard to resist as they arrive freshly baked from the ovens.

Seasonal lunches

Every day our chefs create a delicious selection of homemade seasonal soups. Served with Eden’s own freshly-baked artisan bread, they’re an especially warming, wholesome and healthy lunch.

Other new dishes on the menu, priced from £3.50 to £4.50, include:

  • locally sourced beef chilli with winter vegetables
  • broccoli and leek puff-pastry parcel served with a rich stilton sauce
  • freshly baked bread stuffed with a tangy blend of tomato, chorizo and white bean
  • roasted aubergine and cream cheese bruschetta on a bed of spinach
  • butternut squash filled with an onion marmalade topped with goat’s cheese and a hint of chilli
  • Mediterranean panzanella salad with olives

Seasonal honey-roasted vegetables and freshly prepared salads are served all day for just £1.50.

Afternoon tea

If you need a break or fancy a sweet treat after lunch, come back to the Bakery for a hot pudding, cream tea or delicious homemade cake.

Every day is different with fruit crumbles, hot cobblers and classics such sticky toffee pudding being served all afternoon. Our cakes are breathtaking too with scones, sponges, tea cakes, biscuits and muffins, and you can help yourself to clotted cream and jam!

Lots of gluten-free options are also available. Just ask one of the bakers or a member of staff.

In addition to the Eden Bakery, there are several other places to buy our delicious seasonal and locally sourced food and drink at Eden.

Your food looks lovely but gluten-free often contains potato flour, which I need to avoid ( as I need to also avoid wheat). Oats and spelt are much less aggravating of my reactive arthritis so I hope you’ll consider having flapjacks and spelt products on offer.
