Previously unseen videos of Eden Sessions concerts released on YouTube

We’ve just released loads of exclusive live videos that were shot at Eden Sessions gigs since 2002 on a brand new YouTube channel called Eden Sessions TV.

Videos will be released on a monthly basis with the first batch including tracks from Plan B, who showcased his groundbreaking Ill Manors record at Eden last year, and Jack Johnson, who played a sell-out show at Eden in 2010. Also featured in the first release is the 2011 performance of The Flaming Lips, widely regarded as one of the best live acts in the world, and Australian musical comic Tim Minchin who headlined last year. Tracks from Frank Turner, who headlined the Folk Session last year, and Primal Scream, who brought their legendary Screamadelica Live show to Eden, are also available.

As well as live performances, Eden Sessions TV features backstage interviews. Tim Smit, Eden’s Chief Executive, discusses modern urban Britain with Plan B and environmental issues with Jack Johnson. There is also an interview with Jarvis Cocker, who reflects on his experience of Pulp playing the first ever Eden Session.

The whole Jack Johnson Session in 2010

Jack Johnson performed an amazing concert at Eden in 2010. It was by far his smallest show that year which included a sell-out show at London’s Hyde Park. The video playlist below also includes a three-part conversation between Jack and Eden’s Chief Executive, Tim Smit.
