Public vote sees Cornwall crowned ‘best UK holiday spot’.
Good news from last night! The Eden Project won the Gold award in the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category at the Cornwall Tourism Awards. Representatives from the county’s most innovative holiday businesses gathered to celebrate a challenging year at the Headland Hotel in Newquay. Trebah Gardens near Falmouth won the silver in the section and the Blue Reef Aquarim in Newquay won the Bronze award.
We’ve received a lovely letter from Lucy Jackson, age 7, from Yorkshire, who had visited Eden during her summer holidays and loved it. Says Lucy, “I think you are doing a great job in telling people we must look after our planet… I would love to work at Eden one day when I am bigger”.
