An African tree has given birth to its signature sausage-shaped pod in our Rainforest Biome. The fruit is 20cm long, and we hope it will grow to the full 1m, as seen in the wild.

Yesterday saw one million people up and down the country sit down to eat together for The Big Lunch, the initiative started by the Eden Project to sow the seeds of community and friendship.

Thousands of Gardeners’ World Magazine readers  have been voting to choose their favourites from a list of the gardens taking part in this years Gardens to Visit Guide. We were thrilled to come top of the poll to find
the best day out for kids and best garden for afternoon tea
in the South West.

Eden will be staging a Sport Relief Mile sponsored run this Sunday (March 21).
Eden will be hosting one, three and six mile runs, all of which take routes “around the world” through the mild Cornish outdoors, to the warm, sunny Mediterranean Biome and the hot and humid Rainforest Biome.
