There is limited capacity for all our skating sessions, so please pre-book to avoid disappointment. Each person will also need to have a valid admission ticket to the Eden Project.

Types of skating session

General skating sessions

Our public skate sessions are 40 minutes long and begin on the hour.

Parent and toddler ice-play sessions

Special ice-play sessions for the under 6s, with plenty of toys to play with. The sessions last an hour and a half, or an hour and 15 minutes, and children must be accompanied by an adult (at least one adult per two children). Please note that on Sundays, when these sessions start at 9am, the Eden gates will open at 8.30am.

Chilly Penguins sessions

Skating sessions for 6-12 yr olds with races and games for experienced skaters and fun with penguin skating aids and tips from our instructors for beginners.

Season passes for ice rink

Skate at any general or Superskate session all season. Don’t forget to pre-book your skating slots.

• Cost: £80 (admission to Eden not included) or £40 for a pass that is valid from Monday 19 December until the end of the season (26 February) – a great Christmas present!

Mid-week saver skate sessions

Skate for two hours for the normal price of a 40-minute skate. A great way to spend a Wednesday afternoon!

School skating sessions

These 40-minute skating sessions are exclusively for school groups, year 3 and up (maximum of 150 pupils per session).

Infants on ice play sessions

These non-skating, ice play sessions are exclusively for under sevens from nursery and school groups (maximum of 100 children per session).
