Wild Days OutQ&A

Please Note: Wild Days Out tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive by 9.45am to register. We will start at 10am and finish by 4.30pm.

Where will we meet?

Come to the north gate of Eden Project and park in Melon car park - next to the big wooden pineapple. We will meet you in the cobb building next to the park and ride bus stop.

Is this open to all abilities?

Yes, although we will be crossing grass and fields so, if you have a wheelchair off road wheels will be needed.

How many adults do we need in our group?

'A family' comes in all shapes and sizes. The main thing is that we need one adult to every three children.

Is there an age limit?

Activities are designed so that all ages and abilities can take part.

What do we need to bring?

Bring a packed lunch and drinks. We will provide a hot drink and yummy treat.

What should we wear?

We will be exploring and adventuring. Wear trainers or shoes (not sandals), wellies if it's raining and clothes you don't mind getting messy. Bring a wet weather jacket even if it looks fine.

What if it's raining?

This is an outdoor activity day so we will plan to go ahead whatever the weather. We have got lovely shelters to retreat to, and will have hot drinks available. There are only two occasions when we will need to cancel – lightening and strong winds.

In the case of cancellation a decision will be made by 9am and we will telephone to let you know. Your ticket will be refunded.

Can we go into Eden Project later?

Yes, your Wild Day Out ticket includes your entrance into Eden Project which will be open into the evening.
