Chasing Ice is the story of one man’s mission to change the tide of history by gathering undeniable evidence of our changing planet. Acclaimed photographer James Balog was once a skeptic about climate change. But through his Extreme Ice Survey, he discovers undeniable evidence of our changing planet. Come and watch this incredible documentary in the Mediterranean Biome, where there will be a bar and hot drinks available. Wrap up warm!

Come and enjoy an a cappella performance by the Eden Choir of songs by the likes of Fleet Foxes, Moby, Emeli Sande and Elbow. Made up of Eden Project staff and members of the local community, the choir gives popular songs an unusual twist with its specially arranged four-part harmonies. The performance starts at 7.30pm and there will be food and drink available.

Come and have a go on this new breed of bike. This event showcases the best of these bikes which, particularly in hilly Cornwall, can help provide an essential bridge between the car and muscle power alone.

Relax in the tranquil surroundings of our Biome with a professional massage by a member of the Back-Rub Team. Each massage lasts 15 minutes.

Comic genius Eddie Izzard will be performing at the Eden Sessions as part of his 2013 world tour Force Majeure.

Teachers are invited to Eden to input into the Royal Society’s ‘Vision for Science and Mathematics Education’, part of a nationwide series of events. Participants will get exclusive access to original artefacts from the Royal Society’s archive, and will receive a pack of teaching resources. Please book your place.
