Cast member profile: The Italian tree-climber Damiano came down from the trees at the age of 24 and rooted himself to the ground to become the base of a hand-to-hand act with his acrobatic flyer, Alice Roma.
He attended the National Circus School Flick in Turin, Italy, the Circus School in Lyon, France, and numerous workshops with d'Abdel Senhadji et Mahmoud Louertani and Maxim Pervakov of the XY Company. Damiano went on to create and participate in several shows with the contemporary circus company 4Quarti in France, touring Italy, France and Belgium.
After four years of hard work Damiano and Alice discovered the acrobatic bike, which opened a new dynamic for their duo. They are currently creating a new show entitled ‘Linge Sale’ (Compagnia Rasoterra), with dramaturgy by the creative director of Labyrinth, Firenza Guidi.
