MSc Sustainability: Working for Positive Change
The course has been designed to provide graduates with the knowledge, skills and abilities to act as a catalyst to inspire and effect change towards sustainable living.
Accredited by Anglia Ruskin University, the Masters course is delivered in partnership with the Eden Project and Change Agents UK.
How you’ll learn
Taught across one year (full-time) or two years (part-time), the MSc Sustainability gives graduates the opportunity to learn through a variety of components:
Residential taught sessions
These weeklong residential workshops immerse students in very different learning environments.
- Anglia Ruskin’s Global Sustainability Institute, Cambridge
With access to state-of-the-art research and expertise at this renowned institute, students are able to contribute to a wide range of sustainability-focussed research projects.
- Eden Project, Cornwall
Graduates enjoy the unique opportunity to experience sustainability first-hand through two modules delivered at this world-class attraction and social enterprise.
Comprehensive online learning, through the MSc’s dedicated website, allows graduates to deepen their understanding of the subject areas – and to take part from anywhere in the country.
A work placement
Supported by Change Agents UK, this is a practical opportunity for students to learn how to apply their new skills in a real, work-based setting.

Who it’s for
The MSc Sustainability is open to students from any discipline wanting to become sustainability professionals or to influence change within their existing profession.
Through a combination of residential taught sessions and online learning, students can study full-time or part-time from anywhere in the country.
