What sort of things can students do at Eden?

The Eden Project offers exciting work experience placements in many areas. Every placement has a role profile, which tells you more about the work you can expect to be doing and what skills and qualities you will need to show during your placement. What happens during the week?

Each opportunity is for a week-long placement and will give you a fantastic insight into life at Eden and the world of work. You will spend time working with the team in your chosen area to find out more about how their jobs contribute to the aims of Eden Project. During the week your supervisor will also set you a site-wide fact-finding mission on which you will feedback at the end of the week.

When does it take place?

Work experience weeks always take place around mid-March, and the end of June or the start of August - chosen to coincide with the dates that secondary schools typically arrange 10 work experience. 

Our work experience weeks in 2015 are:

  • 16-20 March 
  • 29 June - 3 July

How can students apply?

Applications for the academic year ahead open in September each year.

Please note, as places are limited, applications for each work experience placement will be shortlisted, so please make sure you give us as much information as possible on the application form so that you don’t miss out!
