The Eden Project is extending the reach of its renowned brand through the development of a new range of beautifully-designed licensed products.

The Cornwall-based project, recently acclaimed as the UK’s greatest landmark for the 21st century, has teamed up with IPR Licensing, who specialise in the creation and management of licensing programmes for discerning brand owners.

The aim is to create a range of high-quality, eye-catching licensed products under the Eden brand, enabling the project to take its message to a wider audience.

Eden’s Commercial Manager Tracey Smith said: “This is an exciting moment for Eden as we look to extend our good name through a range of very fitting products.  With their experience and impressive reach, IPR are the perfect partners in this new venture.”

Sarah Dixon, Joint Managing Director of IPR Licensing, said: “It is great to be working with such a well-known and dynamic brand as Eden. The initial focus is on licensed food, home and garden products, with some core licences already signed and more under discussion. Among the first to launch is a new range of candles from Heaven Scent.”

The Heaven Scent range, including candles, reed diffusers and room sprays, features 12 fragrances inspired by Eden’s Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes and Outdoor Gardens and will be launched to the trade at Autumn Fair in September.

Heaven Scent’s high-quality environmentally-friendly candles are made from natural wax, with ingredients that are both sustainable and kind to the environment.  The candle vases are made from recycled glass, with recycled paper and cardboard used for labels and packaging.

Eden has also collaborated with Franchi Seeds to launch a fabulous new seed range, inspired by plants from the Mediterranean Biome.

In the heart of the Biome, Eden’s top-rated Mediterranean Terrace restaurant is surrounded by herbs and vegetables grown from Franchi Seeds.

This regional range has been carefully developed with the Eden Project and comprises the best sellers and gardeners’ favourites complemented by some new unique and hard-to-find traditional varieties. The range of thirty two proven favourites comprises eight flower, four herb and twenty vegetable and salad varieties.

Launched in early spring initially at Wyevale and RHS stores the range has been very well received with strong sales.

Somerset Cuisine has developed a unique range of Eden handcrafted jams, cooked in the traditional way in small batches in a copper pan.

Each jam tells its own story in a fun and educational way, reconnecting us all with the origins of our favourite fruits.  The jars come with collectable lids and peel off stories and recipes.

Already available through the Eden retail store, the Eden jam range is attracting the attention of mainstream retailers with plans to launch in early 2016.

All licensed products are available through the Eden Project retail store.
