Art pop pioneers Everything Everything are joining Foals for an extra special Eden Session on July 11, 2017, it was announced today (June 5 2017).

Hailing from Manchester and formed in 2007, Everything Everything proclaim that they are on a never-ending quest to bring experimentation and creative ambition back to pop music.

In 2015 their highly-anticipated third album Get To Heaven gatecrashed the Top 10 of the album charts and garnered the finest critical reception of their career to date.

Get To Heaven, as infectious as it is thought provoking, introduced the epic singles Distant Past, Regret, Spring/Sun/Winter/Dread and the unforgettable No Reptiles, taking the band into a league of their own as they portrayed an intricate snapshot of contemporary culture.

Previously, their debut Man Alive and singles such as MY KZ UR BF and Photoshop Handsome introduced them as one of the best-loved new British bands, won the South Bank Times Breakthrough Award and saw them nominated for the Mercury Prize and the Ivor Novello awards.

Acclaimed second album Arc spawned hugely-loved singles such as Cough Cough and Kemosabe and yet more Ivor Novello nominations.

Eden’s Marketing Director Rita Broe said: “In just a few years, Everything Everything have secured their place as one of the most exciting and inventive bands in British music. With their addition to Foals Eden Session we are promised an epic night of music for our last concert of the summer season.”

Foals will be playing their only show in England this year, outside of their festival exclusive at Citadel, at the July 11 date at the Eden Project near St Austell in Cornwall.

In 2015 they were named Best Act in the World Today at the Q Awards, following their accolade of Best Live Act at the same awards in 2013.

They have twice been nominated for the Mercury Prize – for Total Life Forever and Holy Fire – and their haunting single Spanish Sahara was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award.

Also on the bill at the Eden Sessions in 2017 are Bastille (June 15 – SOLD OUT), Madness (June 16 – SOLD OUT), Royal Blood (June 22), Blondie (June 23), Van Morrison (July 1), Bryan Adams (July 6 – SOLD OUT).

Just announced as support for the Bastille concert is acclaimed London-based producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rationale.

After embarking a huge arena tour as guest to Bastille, his first UK tour of the year was entirely sold out and culminated with a major London show at Heaven. The Evening Standard noted, “The audience reaction was astonishing for an artist yet to release an album.”

Taking the stage before Madness on June 16 will be Backbeat Soundsystem, the much-loved eight-piece reggae band from St Austell, just a few miles from the Eden Project.  They are known for their sunny, up-tempo groove and energetic live shows at top venues and festivals around the UK.

Supporting Royal Blood on June 22 are renowned Bristolian riff-ragers Turbowolf, bringing to the Sessions their signature brand of patchouli-drenched punk rock fury. They established a big reputation headlining Live Nation’s Download Freezes Over tour as well as sharing stages with chart-toppers Royal Blood.

The Eden Sessions enter their sixteenth year in 2017. Last year saw Lionel Richie, Tom Jones, PJ Harvey, Manic Street Preachers and Jess Glynne carry on the great tradition of bringing top UK and international acts to Eden.

The Eden Sessions has its own free-to-view online TV channel (www.youtube.com/edensessionstv) featuring regularly-updated videos of some of the gigs' finest shows.
