Visiting with a group

Eden welcomes groups of all ages and interests and with so much to see and do there will always be something to appeal to everyone.

Group bookings are applicable for 10 or more paying visitors and requires a minimum of one weeks notice. Children under 5, Eden memberships, and carer's should not be included in this total.

Advance booking via our Group Booking Form is essential for all group visits.

Group Terms

Prior Booking is required to qualify for the group terms. This also ensures we are able to coordinate your arrival and departure to ensure your visit runs as smoothly as possible. Book now
Payment is made en-bloc on arrival (we do not take pre-payment or deposits). Please don’t worry if you aren’t able to obtain confirmed numbers in the group when placing your booking, exact numbers and payment will be taken on the day of your visit.

Group Facilities

Catering. Three restaurants and a café. Catering vouchers are also available to purchase en-bloc by group organisers. These will be accepted in any catering area, available in values of £2.50 and £5.00.
Toilets. You will find toilets in the visitors centre as you arrive as well as down on the main site. We also have baby changing facilities.
Retail. The main area is found in the visitor’s centre, an ideal location for your group to visit before departing. We also have a kiosk down on the main site.
Pre-ordered guide books for your group can be purchased at a reduced rate of £3.50 (retail price £5.00). Please request this on the booking form and they will be held for your group’s arrival, payment will also be taken at that point.

Cost

£40 for up to 25 in a group
£80 for up to 55 in a group

Both rates are additional to the group admission.

Tours are one hour in length and cover one of the Biomes

Please be aware that this is a continuous walk, some may find this tiring, especially some senior visitors or those with mobility problems.

You will need to request the tour on the booking form with a minimum of one months notice. Please be aware that we may not be able to confirm if we can cover the tour until a few weeks prior to your date of visit as it will depend on the teams’ availability.

Arrival Procedure & Information Regarding Access/Mobility

Arriving by coach is a benefit for all visitors especially those with concerns about mobility or access.

Banana Coach Park. This is where your coach will be directed to on arrival. This area is used as the drop off and pick up area for your passengers.
Payment and Admission Stickers are issued to your group here and you will also be asked the groups agreed departure time.
Eden Park & Ride. It is only a few minutes walk down to the entrance of the Project; however your visitors can make use of our park and ride bus service which runs continually throughout the day to and from Banana.
Wheelchairs are available free of charge. We also have a number of access volunteers; these will need to be pre booked. For further information please call 01726 818895.
Fastrack Entry. As your group will already have their admission stickers (as above) they will then fastrack through the ticketing hall (Pre Paid Coach Entrance).
Landtrains run regularly through the day from the visitors centre so your passengers can have the choice to walk or take a gentle ride down to the Biomes (this is also wheelchair accessible).
Departure. Your driver will have been asked to return to Banana at the designated time for the collection of your group. The Landtrain and Park & Ride can be used at the end of your groups visit to return to Banana coach park to depart. We would advise that your group allows up to 30 minutes returning from the Biomes to Banana in time for departure.

Travel Trade & Coach Drivers Facilities

Your comments on how we manage your business especially our performance on the day is always welcome, we have a range of facilities to aid the arrival of our group organisers and travel trade clients.

Vouchers are accepted only by prior arrangement, for new accounts please add the request to your booking and we will contact you regarding setting up your account.

We also aim to look after your driver whilst your group are enjoying their day. They will obtain:

Free Parking.
Free Entry to the Project.
Refreshment Voucher to the value of £5.
10% Discount in our gift shop.
Opportunity to purchase reduced rate guide books to supply to their passengers: Reduced rate £3.50, full retail price £5.00. Please call prior to the visit date to arrange, these will then be held for arrival.

After your group has departed from the coach, your driver will be directed to Lemon coach park for the duration of your groups visit. Your driver can then either use our park or ride to make a visit on site or they may wish to make use of our new purpose built coach driver’s facilities in Lemon.

These include:

Lounge, Toilets.
Refreshment Facilities, kitchen area with complimentary tea and coffee
Television and Pool Table

We also realise that this is the time for the housekeeping of the coach to take place. Facilities for this are again in Lemon coach park and now include

Timing of your day

We recommend that you allow between 4 and 5 hours for your visit as Eden covers over 35 acres, larger than most other Cornish gardens.

Walkers and cyclist to Eden gain an automatic discount to Eden so there is no need to pre-book (See How to Get Here)
