Visiting Cornwall
Why visit Cornwall?
With its mild climate, breathtaking scenery and long stretches of sandy beach, Cornwall, located on the far western tip of England, has long been one of Britain's most popular summer holiday destinations.
Old and new
In recent years there’s been an influx of chic and contemporary hotels, boutique shops, trendy bars and fine restaurants.
But the history of this county is rich and vivid, and never more so than when remnants of its past are stumbled upon during rambling walks through the countryside.
What's here
Cornwall is great for watersports including surfing and kite surfing while the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum attract an arty crowd. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Minack Theatre are a huge draw as are the many miles of scenic coastal walks.
