School trips: Key Stage 4
Children aged 14 to 16 (including GCSE pupils) will have a fun and fascinating educational day out at the Eden Project.
School groups can either attend one of our exciting half-day workshops led by our education officers or come here on an independent teacher-led visit.
- 'Possibly one of the most educationally rich venues to have taken groups to visit. I would hope all pupils at our school could visit on a rite of passage.'

Half-day workshops
Our workshops, described in detail in the PDF files below, are learning journeys exploring particular aspects of Eden. They are led by our experienced education officers, but the input and participation of your school staff is essential to the success of these workshops.
Every workshop includes an exploration of one or more of Eden's three Biomes (Rainforest, Mediterranean or Outdoor). They are all linked to the National Curriculum and explore issues relating to education for sustainable development.
- Cost: £4.85 per pupil (includes admission)
- Maximum group size: 35 pupils; minimum charge of £97 applies for groups of fewer than 20
Independent teacher-led visits
For many schools this is a great way to explore Eden, especially if your time here is short. Following your introductory briefing you are free to explore the site at your leisure and undertake your own activities. Space for your bags and a place to eat lunch can be provided.
- Cost: £3.80 per pupil (includes admission)
Book your trip
All visits must be booked in advance by filling in our online school visit request form or by calling 01726 811913.
