Ice skating, winter and Christmas for schools

Why not bring your school ice skating on our stunning ice rink available for use by school groups on weekdays from November through to February half-term.

Last year our winter school visitors said, 'A really brilliant day for staff as well as pupils', 'Excellent facilities…well done'.

Book early to give your students the opportunity to sample the festive fun of ice skating and enjoy a learning experience in our unique surroundings. We'd love you to join us.

The package for schools includes:

• Use of the huge ice-rink at the centre of Eden - the most magical ice rink in Cornwall
• Trail exploring the plants that feature in winter celebrations around the world
• Introductory briefing and base in our wonderful education centre, the Core

November, January, February
• Regular schools' programme also available as an alternative to ice-skating
• Infants on ice! – for those too young to skate as part of their school trip a chance to get onto the ice (without skates) and have some fun

December only
• Celebration Creations – a seasonal workshop for our younger visitors (YR - 3)

Who? All booked school groups from Y3 – Y11 will be able to skate.

When? The rink is available for school bookings on weekdays from 3rd November – 19th December 2008 and 7th January – 13th February 2009. Some restrictions to these dates apply.

How much? £4 per student. Within set ratios, accompanying adult helpers are free.
