Carbon Monster

Carbon Monster, written by schoolteacher Katherine Wheatley, is a storybook explaining “carbon footprints” to young children. The illustrations are simple, quirky and eye-catching and have been constructed using newspaper, magazines and phone directories. Aimed at children aged between 5-9 years old, this book tackles environmental issues in a positive and fun way.

The story is about a boy named George, who one day notices a line of tiny footprints behind him. As days go by, the footprints get bigger and bigger but who do they belong to and why are they following him?
