DETAILS
Life at Eden was filmed day after day for nearly a decade, from before the disused clay pit was even bought, right up to summer 2006. Over 4000 hours of footage have been edited into a feature documentary of four parts, It's all here from construction against the odds during some of Cornwall's worst ever weather to the planting of over 120,000 plants - all against the clock. The frenzy to get the place open and, more recently, the opening of the core.
The film crew were given total access to every corner of the Project - recording the rollercoaster ride as Eden learns how to deal with eight million visitors and the growing pains as it tries to shape its role on the wider stage. Trying to define 'what is Eden?' and what it can become.
