The Gloriosa Lily has beautiful and distinct flowers of exotic orange and yellow, to give a blaze of colour to any garden or conservatory. It is a climbing plant.
Native to Africa and southeastern Asia, the glory lily is now widespread across the world because of its gorgeous vibrant colours. Lily gloriosa does contain a form of alkaloids and is very dangerous if ingested. This is especially true for the tubers (roots).
The Gloriosa superba is the national flower of Zimbabwe .
