Loofah (Luffa Cylindrica)

A native plant to North Africa, the Loofah is more commonly found in bathrooms across the world!

The fruit of the Loofah (Luffa Cylindrica) plant resemble a cucumber, and are cultivated not just because of their exfoliating qualities, but also as an important vegetable while ripe.

The plant has large maple shaped leaves, and also pretty little small yellow flowers. Because of their attractivness, the loofah is often grown as an ornamental plant.

So why don't you grow your own bath sponge from our loofah seeds!
