Myrtus luma

Myrtle is an amazingly aromatic shrub, prefect for any garden.

In milder climes this beautiful evergreen shrub grows to a small fragrant tree with the most stunning cinnamon coloured bark. The bark gradually peels to reveal a creamy white layer beneath.

Added to this it has a mass of white solitary flowers followed by dark edible fruits. Also known as Myrtus apiculata to add confusion!
