Passion Flower

Passiflora caerulea

Passion Flowers are very exotic evergreen climbers.

The striking foliage is a perfect backdrop for the unusual flowers, and the flowers give off a delicious scent. The white flowers have a striking blue corona that makes the flowers so unique.

Orange fruits often follow in autumn which are more decorative than edible. The passionflower is a great addition to any wildlife garden.

Planted up against a sheltered spot, they will over winter in the south west and be an important food source in the spring for bees and other benifical insects.
