Visit to Thailand- October 2010
Come and see one of Eden's partnership projects in action on this special nine day excursion to Thailand, designed especially for Friends. Accompanied by representatvies from FORRU (Chiang Mai University's Forest Restoration Unit) and Eden, you will visit Doi Suthep Pui National Park and spend time in Mae Sa Mai village- home to the largest hill-tribe community in this beautiful and remote part of the Kingdom. The itinerary also includes visits to Salak Pra Wildlife Sanctuary, Prathat Doi Suthep Temple, Thailands highest mountain, waterfalls, cloud forest and the WW2 memorials at the bridge over the River Kwai.
