Eden Friends events diary

Our Friend's events programme is always packed with unique activities, tours and talks from a wide range of people, from Eden and beyond.

Apple picking in Eden’s orchard

Date: Wednesday 1 October, 2014

Time: 10.30am – 4pm

Venue: Eden’s orchard, Restineas Farm, Bodelva

Cost: Free

Join our gardeners for a day in Eden’s apple orchard. The season has produced a bumper crop of apples and we’d love you to help us harvest them! The idea is to spend a morning bringing the crop in, while learning lots about fruit tree husbandry from the team. You can also try your hand at apple pressing. The next day we will use the apples as part of the annual Harvest programme, where we are pressing apples.

Practical information: There is no need to book for this event. Simply meet at the Foundation Building at 10.30am (parking in Pineapple Car Park), and we will escort you up to Restineas Farm. Please bring sturdy foot wear, wet weather clothing, a packed lunch – and an empty drinks bottle, so that you can take home some fresh juice.
