Recycle to raise money for Eden's charity projects

Don’t throw away your old inkjet cartridges and mobile phones recycle them through Each One counts and help us to raise money for our charity programmes.

Eden will receive £1 for each cartridge that is successfully recycled and up to £150 for each mobile phone. Plus, you'll be in with the chance of winning a £100 voucher to spend on cycling equipment.

Why recycle?

As well as supporting Eden's charitable projects, it makes sense to recycle your old equipment because:

  • Phones and cartridges contain precious materials that can be recovered and reused.
  • Sent to landfill, these 'heavy metals' (copper, lead, mercury etc) can be toxic.
  • Less than 30% of the 35 million inkjet cartridges that are discarded in the UK each year are recycled.
  • 25 million unwanted mobile phones are lying people's drawers in the UK.

How to recycle your old phone or cartridge

Visit the Each One Counts website, or call 0800 435 576, to check if your phone or cartridge are suitable for recycling. You'll be sent freepost bags – or a box for bulk orders – to send them in.

By registering your recycling donation online with Each One Counts you'll be entered into their quarterly competition to win a £100 Halfords voucher to spend on cycling equipment.
