Celebrate Children in Need at the Eden Project

On Friday 18 November 2O11, Eden was proud to host the region's BBC’s Children in Need. The whole day was fantastic and a big thank you goes out to all the South West fundraisers who visited throughout the day.

Here's a taste of what went on during the Children in Need Party at Eden:

Pudsey Bear 'in the fur' took a spin on our ice rink.
Local school children joined with others from across the country to sing a massive choral performance of an Avril Lavigne song live on national television – as featured in CBBC’s The Big Performance.
Fundraisers from across the region handed over their cheques.
Many joined our festive lantern parade which culminated in a spectacular light display.
People got ready for Christmas with hands-on craft activities and decoration making workshops.
Lots enjoyed live musical interludes with the Eden Choir and the Eden Ensemble.
Plymouth University's amazing football robots were in action - and they never got tired!
