Chocolate Jungle: family fun at our chocolate festival

This event is now finished for 2012. At our chocolate festival, people found out the fascinating story of this 'food of the gods', learnt how it’s made and, of course, tasted it!

Chocolate festival activities

Here's a taste of what happened in 2012:

Rainforest Chocolate Quest: family activity trail

Trek through the tallest rainforest in captivity to discover the history of this ‘food of the gods’. Information about this trail will be available from the Visitor Centre or the Information Desk between the two Biomes.

Chocolate-lolly-making workshops

The perfect hands-on session for chocolate lovers. The workshops will take place between 10.30am and 5pm on the decking area in the Mediterranean Biome.

Hot chocolate tastings - book a place on the day as spaces are limited

Let Jim and Alex introduce your tastebuds to a special luxury hot chocolate. The places on the tastings sessions are limited so you need to book a place at one of the tills in the Eden Bakery. Tastings take place at 11am and 3.30pm in the Eden Bakery, between the two Biomes.

Come listen to a tall tale from our Pollination Team. The stories will be told at 12pm and 2pm in the Citrus Grove in the Mediterranean Biome.
