As one of the the biggest visitor attractions in the South West, Eden has loads to offer. As well as our world-famous indoor Biomes – the steamy Rainforest and the relaxing Mediterranean – we've got our beautiful Outdoor Gardens where horticulture enthusiasts love seeing the dramatic changes throughout the year.

You can also take advantage of the delicious, locally sourced food and drink on offer in our cafes. You can watch tasty treats being prepared in front of you at our innovative Kitchen, or enjoy alfresco-style dining in the Mediterranean Biome, or sample seasonal dishes at our various other outlets.

Our packed calendar of kids' and family events during school holidays are free to Locals' Pass holders. (Please note that some activities at Eden require a separate ticket to be purchased, and are not covered by the Locals' Summer Pass.)

"We buy the Locals’ Pass for our family of 4… It's brilliant for a few hours, or something to eat from the fabulous restaurant which is amazing value. We go about 8 times a year and haven't had a bad visit!"

How to get your Locals' Summer Pass

Locals' Summer Passes are only available on-site at Eden (no online purchases) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Friday 22 May until Sunday 28 June.

Please check our opening times before visiting to avoid disappointment.

Remember to bring photo ID with your address on it such as a photo driving licence (which has both) or alternatively a passport accompanied with a utility bill to prove that your primary residence is in Cornwall or Devon. When buying a family Locals' Summer Pass both adults must be present.

Adults will have their photos taken when they come in to validate their passes; photos do not appear on children's passes.

Children aged under 14 must be accompanied by an adult when getting their Locals' Summer Pass: the proof of residence provided by the adult will also cover the children accompanying them. Adults are welcome to purchase a Locals' Summer Pass for their children, who don't need to be present.

Direct debit renewals

Existing Locals' Pass holders who pay by direct debit will have received a letter by post from us about the automatic renewal of the Pass. If you chose to continue with the direct debit (ie didn't cancel it or change the types of passes that you want - and your bank details are correct), then you can simply continue to use your existing (renewed) passes. While they may have an expiry date written on them, please ignore this - as our system will recognise them as having been extended when you next visit.

Terms and conditions

Locals' Summer Passes can only be bought on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Friday 22 May until Sunday 28 June 2015.

Purchasing your Locals’ Summer Pass

Your Locals' Summer Pass must be purchased on site at Eden. When you come to Eden you will need to present proof of residence (see below).

All passes are non-refundable.

Expiry date

Locals’ Passes will be valid until 31 October 2015.

Proof of residency

Each adult purchaser will be required to present proof of residence in either Devon or Cornwall, and a photo ID, on arrival in the Visitor Centre at Eden in order to purchase/validate their Locals' Summer Pass. A photo driving licence is ideal. Locals' Passes are available exclusively to those whose primary address is in Devon or Cornwall (i.e. postcodes starting with TR, PL, TQ or EX).

Adult Locals’ Summer Pass holders (over 16s) will be photographed upon purchase of the pass and the image will be securely stored. These images will only be used for identification purposes when arriving on site and to prevent misuse of the Locals’ Summer Pass.

General use

Your Locals' Summer Pass cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and remains the property of Eden Project Limited. Locals’ Summer Passes are not valid in conjunction with School visits. Locals' Summer Passes are non-transferable, once registered. Pass holders may also be asked to confirm proof of identity when re-visiting using their Locals' Pass. Passes may be cancelled and the holder refused entry if the holder is unable to confirm proof of identity to match their pass on subsequent visits. Passes may not be re-sold.

When buying a Family Locals' Summer Pass, the two adults and two children will each be given a pass - which allows them to visit together or separately.
