We’re proud to announce that indie-rock legends Foals will play their only UK show of 2017 – except for their prestigious headline slot at London’s 40,000-capacity Citadel Festival – at the Eden Sessions.

This will be their first UK show since headlining the Reading and Leeds festivals in 2016. Eden will be by far the most boutique and intimate show Foals have played for years, having headlined major festivals around the world and won numerous accolades, including best album at the NME awards and best live band at the Q awards.

The Oxford quintet are one of the most exciting live acts in the UK and are known for their unique indie-rock sound and complex lyrics, influenced by literature and philosophy.

Foals have released four studio albums – Antidotes, Total Life Forever, Holy Fire and What Went Down – all of which charted in the top ten in the UK and achieved over gold status.

In 2015 they were named Best Act in the World Today at the Q Awards, following their accolade of Best Live Act at the same awards in 2013. They have twice been nominated for the Mercury Prize – for Total Life Forever and Holy Fire – and their haunting single Spanish Sahara was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award. Spanish Sahara and Inhaler have both won the Best Track gong at the NME Awards, and What Went Down was named Best Album last year.

Special guests: Everything Everything

Hailing from Manchester and formed in 2007, Everything Everything proclaim that they are on a never-ending quest to bring experimentation and creative ambition back to pop music.

In 2015 their highly-anticipated third album Get To Heaven gatecrashed the Top 10 of the album charts and garnered the finest critical reception of their career to date.

Get To Heaven, as infectious as it is thought provoking, introduced the epic singles Distant Past, Regret, Spring/Sun/Winter/Dread and the unforgettable No Reptiles, taking the band into a league of their own as they portrayed an intricate snapshot of contemporary culture.

Previously, their debut Man Alive and singles such as MY KZ UR BF and Photoshop Handsome introduced them as one of the best-loved new British bands, won the South Bank Times Breakthrough Award and saw them nominated for the Mercury Prize and the Ivor Novello awards.

Acclaimed second album Arc spawned hugely-loved singles such as Cough Cough and Kemosabe and yet more Ivor Novello nominations.
