Once again, Father Christmas and his elves are setting up camp here at the Eden Project, right up until Christmas Eve, where they’re busy wrapping and packing and mapping and making. There are letters to sort, presents to deliver, and a very important sleigh to prepare.

Father Christmas is keen to meet you and your children, so they can help. This year they have a very special task: to help spread Christmas cheer. He’ll explain exactly how to do this when you arrive.

"This Father Christmas was about putting the magic back into Christmas"

TripAdvisor review

Inside the cosy tent you’ll get to see ‘behind the scenes’, including the elves’ bunkbeds, the pigeonholes full of children’s letters, and all the stockings laid out ready for the big day.

After settling down for a story beside an open fire, each child can enjoy a special moment with the man in red.

We are also offering special sessions for those with autism and sensory or communication needs.

"So much more than a visit to Santa... beautifully done"

Relaxed performances

We are working with the Sensory Trust to stage relaxed performances designed to welcome audience members who may benefit from a more informal experience, such as those with autism and sensory or communication needs.

During these performances, there are fewer people in the audience, and there is a more relaxed approach to the show, with appropriate changes made to the light and sound, and to the level of interaction with Father Christmas and the elves. Pre-visit information will be sent upon booking. We are offering relaxed performances on the following dates in 2016:

  • Sat 3 Dec: 12.30pm* - fully booked
  • Sun 4 Dec: 11.30am - book online
  • Tue 13 Dec: 4:30pm - book online
  • Sat 17 Dec: 11.30am* - fully booked
  • Sun 18 Dec: 12.30pm - fully booked
  • Wed 21 Dec: 10.30am* - fully booked
  • Fri 23 Dec: 10.30am - fully booked

* These performances will have a sign language interpreter.
