How to get to Eden

the Eden Project
Bodelva
St Austell
Cornwall
PL24 2SG

By car

We are well sign posted from the A30, A390 and A391.

Visitors from outside the county can take the M5 southbound towards Exeter, before the motorway ends and merges into the A30. Continuing on this road will eventually bring you to the Innis Downs roundabout, from which Eden is signposted.

Parking at Eden is ample, although the sheer size of the site might necessitate a short walk or park-and-ride bus journey (for free, of course) depending on how busy we are. All of our car parks are named after fruit so you shouldn’t have any trouble remembering where you parked!

Alternatively you can reach us by bus or train

The award-winning Eden Branchline bus service runs six or seven times a day from St. Austell railway station in the UK and includes admission to the Project. Also a daily bus service operates from Newquay, via Newquay Airport to the Eden Project. There are additional facilities in conjunction with First Great Western to reach Eden, travel by train from Newquay to Roche and connect on to a bus to Eden. Same price for bus, or rail and bus.

A daily bus service operates from Falmouth, via Truro and St Austell to Eden in the summer only.

For details phone our good friends Truronian buses on (01872) 273453.

Or get on your bike!

Bikes are very welcome at Eden. If you cycle here, on arrival make yourself known at the pre-paid ticket desk where you will beat any queues and enjoy £4 off the adult entry charge for pedalling to see us. Kids under 15 on bikes accompanied by an adult get in free.

Walkers

Walking is good for you and good for the environment and, while it may not seem like the most obvious way to get to Eden, it provides a unique opportunity to view the countryside around us. Walkers also receive a £4 discount off the adult entry fee, again make yourself known at the pre-paid ticket desk.
