Plant Talk

Eden is part of a consortium that produces the magazine Plant Talk, covering plant conservation across the world.

Read in over 120 countries, Plant Talk is a unique source of concise, targeted information for professionals, students and all those with a serious interest in plants and the environment.

Other partners in the consortium are:

  • Artdatabanken (the Swedish Species Information Centre)
  • Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (a structure created by Conservation International and leading partners such as the World Bank and the Global Environment Facility to fund conservation action by civil society in biodiversity hotspots)
  • Plantlife International (the world’s first popular plant conservation society, now with over 12,000 members)
  • The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (probably the world's best known botanic gardens, has one of the largest and widest-ranging programmes of botanical research, exploration and conservation science)
  • The Department of Botany of the Natural History Museum of the Smithsonian Institution and US Botanic Garden (the Smithsonian is perhaps the world’s greatest single collection of museums, with natural history as one of its strengths)
