MSc in Environmental Adaptation and Sustainable Engineering

Jointly delivered by the University of East London and Eden, this Masters programme gives students the opportunity to study environmental issues at a respected university, while getting practical experience at our renowned eco-centre.

The course focuses on two elements: how society must adapt to climate change, and how sustainable engineering can tackle these challenges. The course touches on a variety of subjects, including building design, waste and recycling systems, and social, legal and economic issues.

Benefits of the course

  • Combines theoretical study with practical residential elements at Eden, which has firsthand experience of sustainable engineering.
  • Provides a unique insight into the subject, thanks to guest lecturers from the profession.
  • Offers a qualification in an industry with a significant skills shortage.
  • Allows students to specialise, through a wide range of modules.
  • Gives students the flexibility to study full time (one-year course) or part time (two-year course).
