Our spectacular winter wonderland is here!

The outdoor landscape has transformed with silver birches and fir trees and twinkling lights all over the site. Enjoy Christmas choirs, festive food, ice skating, a Christmas market, and lots of other seasonal surprises.

Father Christmas in Cornwall

This year for the first time we welcome Father Christmas! You’ll find him with his cheeky friend Jack Frost in the Mediterranean Biome.

20th, 21st, 23rd December 12, 1, 2, 3 & 4pm

27th Dec - 30th Dec at 12, 1, 2, 3 & 4pm storytelling with Jack Frost only as Father Christms is recovering and then he goes back to the North Pole. 

Festive Christmas Market

Situated near the Biomes our Christmas marketplace will give you the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping and find presents and decorations with a unique Eden or Cornish touch.

21st, 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 31st Dec and 1st, 4th Jan the market is open 11am - 5pm

19th, 20th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th Dec and 2nd, 3rd Jan the market is open 1pm - 8pm

Christmas Workshops

Visit the workshop stalls to decorate gingerbread, add to our huge paper chain or make a tree decoration. Plus ‘make it yoursElf’ demo.

Live Music and Fab Food in the Restaurants

Feast on a wide selection of festive treats and locally sourced goodies; from chestnuts by the fire, traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, cheeseboard and port to hot mulled wine and a hog roast.

Sit back and enjoy or get up and dance to the great sounds of live Cornish music with local bands Dalla and Radjel.

Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm

Magical Field of Lights Installation

6,000 acrylic tubes each topped by an glass ball, plus 24,000 metres of fibre optic cable and a projector have produced the beautiful light installation on the Biome Link rooftop by artist Bruce Munro - can only be seen after dark.

Lantern Procession

Meet us by the rink, grab a lantern and join us on our magical procession led by the Cornish pipers and drummers finishing in the arena with a firey finale.
