JULY
Get Den Building
July 19 – Sept 4
This summer, as well as building dens, kids will be able to learn about all sorts of essential survival skills such as knot tying and even making fire from friction. There’ll also be family trails and an orienteering challenge, kite making workshops and a magical undercover woodland clearing to explore.
And if you need to take a break from all that hectic activity why not have a snooze in one of the hammocks you’ll find dotted around or relax in our beautiful tipi full of bean bags.
We’ll have a fire pit in the arena from August 1 where you can try some yummy traditional campfire food. We’ll also be open until 8pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from July 20 – September 4 with reduced admission and kids FREE after 4.30pm.

Shape Shifters by Angela Easterling
Now - September 4
A major new exhibition of plant pictures that blurs the boundaries between art and science. The work takes the form of more than 100 photograms that explore the phenomenon of how plants adapt to their environment. This exhibition will appeal to the art lover, the botanist and the scientist alike. Entry is included in standard Eden admission price.
Sustainability in Surfing installation
Now - September 4
A 1960 VW Westfalia camper with surfboards and wetsuits will take its place among the exotic plants of the Mediterranean Biome this summer.
The striking artwork is by acclaimed artist Ben Cook and underlines the fact that many surf-related objects are non bio-degradable and toxic to the marine environment. The exhibit is part of a larger on-site exhibition highlighting and exploring the blurred lines of sustainability in surfing.
