The Eden Project in spring

Eden through the Seasons

Spring

Eden transforms into a riot of colour with more than a million bulbs bursting into flower. The outdoor landscape is a multi-coloured patchwork of tulips in full bloom, there are poppies from California and South Africa in the Mediterranean Biome, and don’t miss the finale of English wild flowers including bluebells, campions and violets. We also hold our annual (and now famous) Sexy Green Car Show in the Spring.

Summer

During the summer holidays we pull out all the stops with games, storytelling, trails and fabulous food. And seeing as last year was such a corker, we’re going to be holding our Den Building Challenge again. We provide the raw materials, then it's over to you.

We’ll be open later three evenings a week (Tuesday to Thursday) until 8.00pm with last entry at 6.30pm to give you a chance to spend the day on the beach if you want to.

Summer evenings at Eden are just gorgeous. Relax on the terraces of our Cafés and Restaurants with tasty local food and a glass of wine or beer; run around with the kids when it’s slightly cooler; or enjoy the live music, comedy and other events at the Eden Sessions.

Autumn

The new school term beckons but you can shake off that back-to-school feeling at Eden. We celebrate harvest with a range of activities and culinary delights. Green fingered types can help our horticulture team plant bulbs in preparation for next Spring.

Winter

A truly magical time as Eden transforms into a winter wonderland. There's ice skating, fire, music and storytelling and you can warm up with hot chocolate and our tasty winter menu. As it gets closer to Christmas our Time of Gifts festival brings you local choirs, a Christmas market and lantern parade finale.
