Eden Project Members and guests are invited to join us for a guided tour around our Watering Lane Nursery, where you will meet the People and Gardens team. People and Gardens is a Community Interest Company (CIC) who assist people with learning disabilities and mental health issues to develop work and social skills.
People and Gardens was established in 1997 to assist people with learning disabilities and mental health issues to develop work and social skills to enable them to take control over their own lives. The founders of People and Gardens understand through their own experiences, that we should all work together to break down barriers, to educate and to support each other to make the world a better place for everyone.
Co-founder Ken Radford will give a short introduction at 10am before leading us on a guided tour of the nursery and gardens, where you can meet some of the beneficiaries of this amazing project. The tour will conclude with a question and answer session, and the opportunity to share some refreshments with the team.
