- Rainforest Biome
Due to popular demand Hetty Ninnis, Eden's Rainforest Biome Supervisor, will be revisiting the topic of the strange and interesting fruits and vegetables we have growing at Eden.
From starfuit to breadfruit, the humble banana and the brazilian grape tree or Myrciaria cauliflora which is a slow-growing tree up to 13m tall, the flowers are white with a mass of stamens, forming in clusters along the trunk and branches, the berries then form on the trunk of the tree.
The tour may be taking place in warm and humid conditions, depending on the weather on the day, so please wear light layers and bring a refillable water bottle with you which can be topped up on-site.
