Learn how to scythe on this one-day beginners course held at Eden. Scything is undergoing a revival, as people realise the benefits of combining some healthy outdoor exercise with a sustainable method of vegetation control. Learn to scythe with our Eden horticulturalist and expert scyther Kevin Austin. He’s one of the country’s scything champions!
The course includes basic scything techniques, as well as a guide to sharpening and maintaining your scythe. You'll of course get free entry to Eden for the day.
The way the staff pass on their passion is contagious.
