Two live gigs have been announced at St Austell’s newest and funkiest café.

The Eden Café in White River Place will host a performance by Ben Jordan on Friday, July 8. Ben, who is touring the UK with his infectious blend of Americana and Soul, will be joined by special guests on the night, with details to be announced shortly. Tickets cost £3 and £2 for concessions.

On Friday, July 15, singer and songwriter Helm and his Allstar Band will be coming to the café, layering warm harmonies over laidback country rhythms to create memorable songs. Tickets cost £3.50 and £2.50 for concessions.

There will also be a gig on Friday 22, with bands yet to be confirmed.

Dan Ball, Eden Café Manager, said: “We’re really excited to be involved in bringing original live music to St Austell. The Eden Café is a great place to relax with friends, have a bite to eat and discover great new bands.”

The gigs take place at 8pm until midnight. Tickets are available from the café and on the door. Along with a selection of great local beverages, there will be bread and dips along with Provencal ragout, which are available until 9:30pm.
