A spooky ice rink and ghoulish activities will be thrilling visitors at the Eden Project over October half-term.

From Saturday, October 22 to Sunday, October 30, Halloweden is back with the whole site transformed into a world of secrets and scares.

The ice rink makes a spectacular return with a new, glacial look this year which is sure to send a chill down skaters’ spines.

Sessions begin on the hour between 11am and 5pm each day apart from October 28 and 29, when the last public skate is 4pm. Skate sessions are 40 minutes long and cost £5 per person.

In the beautifully decorated Wishcraft Tent there’ll be lots of magical things to make and do, including pumpkin carving demonstrations, wand making and potion mixing.

These activities take place from 10.30am – 5.30pm each day and are included in the cost of admission.

For an evening of fang-tastic fun, the Little Monsters’ Ball is a chance for the whole family to get on their fancy dress and enjoy a bone-shaking disco on Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29, from 6pm to 9pm.

This event is £7 per ticket, plus £2 for a 20-minute skate.

Kate Francis, Eden’s assistant programme producer, said: “We’ve got loads of magical fun to keep everyone entertained over the school holiday.

“Come and celebrate Halloween or have a go at ice skating on our beautiful and unique wintry rink. You’re bound to have a h-owl of a time!”
