The Eden Café is offering an irresistible selection of acoustic music on Friday April 27 with Tony Haven and Tom Cary.

Musician Tony Haven rejects the traditional methods of guitar playing and instead demonstrates remarkable skill and talent with the fascinating style of lap tapping.

His influences span from classical to jazz and even Metallica, which are reflected in his own unique compositions. His distinct approach to playing the guitar looks effortless, creating beautiful melodies and truly characteristic music.

Having recorded all of his albums in his home studio, Tony has booked his own tour throughout the UK and Europe, playing a variety of venues, both big and small.

Tony will be supported by Cornish singer, songwriter and guitarist Tom Cary.

Inspired by a range of artists such as Newton Faulkner, Jamie Cullum and Michael Bublé, Tom produces a refreshing, expressive style. He entwines touching lyrics with an impressive guitar technique to craft a truly engaging performance.

Ian Williams, Operations Director at Eden, said: “We are delighted to have Tony and Tom join us at the café. Their music, which compliments each other perfectly, is sure to create a mellow mood to celebrate the weekend.”

The gig takes place from 8pm until midnight and tickets cost £3 each.

A selection of locally sourced beverages will be on offer throughout the night. Bread, dips and a choice of seasonal hot food will be available until 9:30pm.
