Eden chefs put the sparkle into Christmas food with seasonal cookery course
The Eden Project is laying on a course to teach people how to cook delicious party treats on Thursday 13 December 2012.
Perfect for festive feasts, the course focuses on creating extra special canapés and light bites at Christmas parties.
The one-day course with Tony Trenerry, Eden’s Senior Sous Chef, involves a morning of tuition in which budding chefs can learn new recipes, techniques and inspirational ideas to impress their friends and family this year.
During the day, Tony will teach people how to prepare and present five different party food recipes: Cornish goat’s cheese with red onion confit galettes, mini ginger chicken burgers with lime mayonnaise, smoked mackerel in chicory leaves with dill, chorizo and coriander mini breads and chocolate orange mince pie bites.
Tony said: “The festive period is a time to get together with friends and family to celebrate and, of course, eat some fantastic food. This course is for anyone who wants to be able to create wonderful, seasonal dishes that will be the toast of their Christmas parties.”
The course includes an Eden lunch and a glass of bubbly, along with entry to Eden. After the event, participants will take home a goodie bag which includes recipe cards and an Eden Project apron.
