The Eden Café in St Austell’s White River Place will be hosting a live performance by Belfast folk duo FOS Brothers on Saturday August 17.

FOS Brothers, otherwise known as Sam and Dave McCrory, will be showcasing their energetic set featuring classic rock greats and their own, unique material.

The band have been performing together for more than 15 years and have played at music venues and festivals around the country, including a regular slot at Glastonbury.

They are known for their atmospheric sounds, produced both vocally and with their guitars. Their set offers an insight into the pair’s Celtic roots with a seventies vibe, covering everything from funny folk songs to more sensitive, moving melodies.

Di Armstrong, Eden Café Manager, said: “FOS Brothers were a great success when they performed at the Café back in March. Their audience interaction and toe-tapping music was exhilarating and we are very excited to have them back to play at Eden Café.”

The doors will open at 7pm, with the music starting at 8pm. The Café will be offering a selection of hot, locally-sourced food until 9pm. The bar will be open until 10pm.

Tickets can be purchased for £4 in advance at the Café or by calling 01726 338114. They will be available for £5 on the door. Those whose buy in advance will receive their first drink free and 50 per cent off their choice of one of the evening special meals. People can also reserve a table. Concessions are available, but not in-conjunction with this offer.
